being charitable

The charity I chose was Saving the Children. This foundation helps children with whatever they need right now in their life. When I make a donation to this foundation I am giving a kid in the U.S. and around the world what a child deserves in their life. Since many of these children's need clothes, money for education, food, a home and etc. It also gives me the opportunity to learn and protect children from harm. 
This is very important to me because I love kids and I do not like to see them suffering. It is also important to me because I want to see a child smile for what they are receiving from me. I also think it is important because if I was in the same situation I would be suffering and I do not want other to suffer especially kids because it is not their fault they are going through that in life. It makes me feel special and happy when I give others what they need and I think god will give me more when I do this for kids in necessary. I can also help kids who need a home for example how there was an earthquake recently in Nepal and many people lost homes and do not have food right now. So in this position I would be so glad to help these kids that are in need.

Blog #6 Perservance

Yes, I have heard the verb preserve because it means when someone wants to achieve a goal they use all their power to do it. Meaning if a teen wants to graduate from high school and go into college they put all their effort in to reach their goal. Also in like games athletes preserve their head in the games because they put a lot of effort to win a game and not loose. Others want accessories or equipment's and try their best to try and buy it but, its expensive and to preserve what they want they start saving up for whatever they want. 
If I were to choose between 50 or 100 dollars I would choose 50 because I would have them right now. Unlike, 100 dollars I would get them in like a year and I am not waiting that long. Also 50 dollars would help a lot right now I could pay or buy somethings for me right away. Like if i were to get 50 dollars right nowI would buy my mom a gift for mothers day because its just around the corner. Also, I would buy my friend a present for her baby since her baby shower is just right around the corner too. Then, with the rest of the money I would just spend it on small things for me thats if I still have enough left.
The goal I want to achieve is graduating this year and moving on. By, moving on I mean I want to go of to college and start the career I want to be. I have done a lot in my senior to achieve my goal. Like I am putting a lot of effort to graduate and not screw up my senior year because it is my last year being here. The steps for achieving my goal is comming to school, doing my work and get good grades for me to end up into college. I know for a fact I can do it and I know if I keep up my good work I will end up achieving my big goal.             

Blog #4 Bucket List

1. I would like to travel to Miami because I want to see the clear beach water, then at night I would like to see the amazing beautiful lights of the city, meet new people and I want to go to the stores and buy stuff from Miami 
2. I would also like to travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to see the statue of Jesus Christ standing on top of a hill, then go to Sugarloaf Mountain to go into the bay and view the city in a cable car and last thing I would do in Rio is go to the forest up in Tijuca 
3. I would like to go to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida because I want to see the difference between Hollywood and Orlando's Universal Studios. I would also like to go so I can ride on the crazy, fun ride and by looking at the commercials on t.v. its seems like a really amazing place to be at.
4. I would love to see the Jabbawockceez dance team because they have some amazing moves that I would like to see and learn. I choose this one on my bucket list because I really love to dance to andI would appreciate to see them perform right in front of me.
5. My last bucket list item is to meet some of my favorite singers. I would love to go to Premios lo Nuestro, its a spanish awards music I choose it so I can meet a lot of my favorite spanish singers.   

Blog #3 My Spring Break

During my spring break I slept and hanged out with my cousin. I didn't really do anything much on my break, but I got to spent sometime with my favorite cousin before she left. My cousin and I went to go eat, to the beach and came to my house to watch movies. I really like spending time with her because all we do is laugh,have a crazy and fun time. 

My cousin and I really like to do many things together. Like during the break we had our last memories together before she had to go back to her city. Like we went to the beach and when we were at the beach we went on our walks like always. We went up to the pier and saw the beautiful waves and different kinds of fishes swimming, that we had never seen before. Then, we went for a walk by the shore and the sand felt so squishy and smooth. Then, we both got to see the sunset together while just having a great laugh and talk.

After a long day from the beach I went home with her and had some rest. While getting some rest we decided to watch a movie and eat. So, we both ended up watching scary movies, had dinner and she had a sleepover at my house. My spring break was pretty good but after all I got to spend time with my favorite person.

My name is Tanya Renteria, and I am 17 years old. I was born in the city of Santa Ana , California and lived there for a while. Later on I moved to Costa Mesa. I am the 3rd oldest child out of 5 kids. I have two sisters named Blanca and Kimberly. I also have two brothers named Juan and Alex. I have a dog named Twix, and my favorite colors are pink, red, black and white.

My favorite hobbies are dancing, playing football, hearing music, shopping, and spending time with my friends and family. My favorite sport is football. I really love football, and my favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys. My favorite type of food is Mexican food, because we make some delicious traditional dishes. When I have my own free time, I like to hear music and draw. I really like spending time with my friends and have a great time together, same with my family.

My goal for my future is to become a choreographer, because I really love to dance. Dancing is my passion, and I want to learn and go to college to study for this career. I want to go to college and get an AA degree, so then maybe later on I’ll get a bachelor’s degree to be a choreographer.
